The City of Brentwoodis seeking a journey level individual for maintenance, repair, operation and inspection in connection with operating and maintaining water production facilities and equipment.
The Ideal Candidate for the current vacancy is someone who understands the aspects of groundwater production, including maintenance and repair of water production facilities, water quality sampling, has a heightened awareness of public health concerns, and is familiar with the Division of Drinking Water Regulations. Candidate will need to have the ability to learn quickly and display good judgment, as well as be organized, flexible, approachable, resourceful, and a positive team contributor.

Education and Experience Guidelines

2. Grade II Water Distribution certificate issued by the State of California Water Resources Control Board

All applicants that pass the written test will be placed on the eligible list which is good for at least 6 months and may be extended up to an additional 18 months. This eligible list will be used by the City of Brentwood to fill all current and future openings in this classification as long as the list is active.
