Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.

Major/Essential Functions
Teaching online undergraduate and/or micro-credentialing courses in Human Resource Development, Leadership, Interdisciplinary Studies, or Legal Studies for the School of Professional Studies degree program. Job assignment is dependent on the needs of the department.

Required Qualifications

A terminal degree in Human Resources (HR), such as a JD with relevant HR work experience, a master's degree in HR, leadership studies, interdisciplinary studies, or legal studies.
Alternatively, candidates with a completed master's degree and 18 credit hours in the above-specified areas, as determined by the academic unit, will be considered.
Proven ability to teach effectively.
This position is classified as Security Sensitive, and employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

HR certification from SHRM or HRCI.
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Blackboard or Canvas.
2-5 years of teaching experience in higher education.
