Lindauer is proud to partner with Combined Arms in the search for a Chief Development Officer.

Combined Arms seeks a Chief Development Officer who is a driven leader with strong fundraising skills.

The CDO will take a visionary approach to management, strategic planning, and collaboration as they build partnerships that advance the mission of Combined Arms: to bring together veteran-focused nonprofits and agencies and communities across the nation committed to serving those who served.

Current and future philanthropic partnerships are critical for Combined Arms to support over 16.5 million veterans in the United States. To broaden the scope of this impact, the CDO will form relationships with people and organizations on a national scale to ensure even more veterans and their families have access to resources to successfully transition to civilian life.

Successful candidates will:

Have demonstrated fundraising success in large organizations.

Be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing Combined Arms' fundraising efforts, including strategic grants, corporate sponsorships, major gifts, special events, earned program revenue deals, and individual giving campaigns.

Work closely with the CEO in all development and fundraising endeavors.

Lead two Account Executives in developing a national earned program revenue pipeline and assigning, monitoring, and evaluating territory management success with Account Executives.

Lead the Development Manager in grant seeking, including research, proposal writing, and reporting requirements; the growth of individual giving, major gifts, and corporate sponsorships; and the execution of fundraising campaigns and special events.
