OVERVIEW:

Our organization is looking for qualified candidates interested in joining our 2023 Inside (in Walmarts and Joe V) Retail Team.

This position is perfect for veterans, marketing interns, communication & business majors or anyone looking for something new and looking for advancement. You'll represent a major internet brand - Xfinity Comcast-NBCUNIVERSAL, a well known and established brand in the community. OR

You'll represent a wireless brand dedicated to promoting the ACP benefit - helping the community get free access to talk and text plans with free phones and tablets!

This position is a great resume-builder for individuals looking to break into the wireless and/or internet marketing industry.

We are looking for driven people to demo various internet and/or wireless packages, they will also achieve enrollment targets, increasing the number of new customers for the brand they represent.

You will be helping out communities by discussing government programs that can reduce their internet and/or wireless monthly costs significantly or even set them up where these services are free!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Represent established brands - uniform, branding and marketing material provided

Execute successful marketing activations at events throughout the area (i.e. street fairs, pop-ups, parades, trade shows, flea markets, canvassing events, and festivals)

Interact with the community as an ambassador to promote the brand and benefits with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm at all times

Set up and tear-down activation spaces when applicable (banner, podium)

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Display outstanding teamwork, communication skills, and an energetic personality

Able to entertain in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to communicate, listen, and engage with the public, occasionally large groups of people

Comfortable with public interactions and sharing knowledge of the benefit program

Available to work a flexible schedule with weekdays, weekends, and nights required

Must have access to a car or reliable transportation

Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 15 pounds regularly Must be able to regularly stand/move for long periods. At times, you will be at a table top or kiosk or you will be in a residential area, providing enrollment services directly to the consumer.

Previous event and/or brand ambassador experience preferred, but not required

Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
