Regional Sales Manager (Northeast Region)
High Value Graphic Arts Technical Capital Equipment
Koenig & Bauer, the oldest (more than 200 years), widest and most diverse capital equipment and solutions manufacturer, has an opening on its Sales Team, for a Regional Sales Manager in the Northeast. This position provides and enables selling the full complement of Koenig & Bauer product lines including: Offset, Digital, Web, Flexographic, Post Press Converting and Software Solutions in application spaces that include, but are not limited to commercial, digital, label, book, packaging, corrugated and post press providers, within the Northeast Region of the United States. We are looking for an experienced graphic arts capital equipment or printing industry tenured team player, with a historically demonstrated, high performance, Trusted Advisor & Closer, who will drive business development and lead opportunities to close sales in their region, with responsibility managing the entire sales cycle.
Position provides a generous annual base salary, business related expenses, mobile telephone and monthly auto allowance and provides significant additional earnings derived from sales commissions. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or Engineering degree program; and/or
- 5+ years (with a degree) or 8+ years (without a degree) of outside technical sales experience selling high value printing or packaging capital equipment or printing industry relevant experience with comfort working in long sales cycles;
- Experience managing multiple projects and installations simultaneously;
- Proficiency with communicating at all levels of an organization;
- Competency with financial modeling and technical processes discussions;
- Excellent presentation skills both onsite and virtually;
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce preferred), Google Business and Microsoft Office Suites including Docs/Word, Sheets/Excel, and Slides/PowerPoint;
- Demonstrated use of social media to develop relationships & business opportunities;
- Experience with capacity analysis/return on investment software modeling a plus;
- Extensive travel within region and at times, North America and Europe;
- Experience in the printing industry or a closely related industry is highly preferred.
This position reports to the Sales Director and has no direct reports.
Must live within the region, have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record and a car. Relocation assistance is available, if necessary.
