Chief Operating Officer

What you will do:
Provide leadership, day-to-day management and oversight of Operations.
Provide direct oversight of organizational development, to ensure effective services are administered and provided to the target population and surrounding community.
Responsible for ensuring program and corporate compliance with primary health care policies and procedures.
Participate in the development of long-range strategic plans, governance structure and objectives for practice management.
Contribute to the development of the plan of operations and coordinating corresponding budgets.
Contribute to the development of transformational strategies and guide staff in the implementation and execution of new processes and improvement tools.
Travel to and attend seminars and training sessions to keep current with trends and new practices in health care administration.
Report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and contribute to Executive Leadership Team.
Who you are and the expertise you bring:
Patient-focused compassionate leader
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health or relevant field required. Master's degree in Business Management with emphasis on Health Care Administration is a plus.
A minimum of five to seven years of progressively responsible administration experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of organizational management, preferably in a health care and/or not-for-profit environment.
Excellent process improvement skills and able to understand health center functions and department interactions.
Basic understanding of information technology and ability to organize, analyze and synthesize complex data from various sources.
Able to adapt process improvement in accordance with organization objectives.
Collaborative teammate, motivated to build and achieve goals with a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
