Job Summary:

Clinical care of children with general neurological disorders specializing in management of headaches/migraines both in clinic and via telehealth

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's/Doctoral degree in nursing (MSN/DNP) or physician assistant (MPAS)
Eligible for licensure in Colorado as an Advance Practice Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Nurse practitioner candidate possesses pediatric primary or acute care certification

Condition of Employment:

Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training and expertise in pediatric neurology
One to two years of nursing or advanced practice experience in pediatric neurology
Prescriptive authority in Colorado
Nurse practitioner candidate possesses DNP or is willing to obtain within 5 years
Proficiency in performing nerve blocks or botulinum toxin injections
Bilingual
Interest in QI initiatives

Broad knowledge and clinical skills in general pediatric neurology

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$100,000 - $115,000.

The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
