Position Summary:
This non-tenure track, clinical assistant professor is responsible for teaching and mentoring WWAMI medical students throughout the 18-month curriculum and under the guidance of the Clinical Medicine Department Head.

Under the direction of the Clinical Medicine Department Head, teaching responsibilities may include:

Clinical Skills education and assessment

Hospital tutorials

Documentation assessment (H&P's, SOAP notes, etc.)

Mentoring of students over their four-year program

Other responsibilities may include:

Faculty Development

Student Interest Group Advising

Assisting with student orientation

Didactic Lectures

Electives

Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

A terminal degree (M.D., D.O., or equivalent) in a disciplinary relevant to healthcare and medical education
A terminal degree (M.D., D.O., or equivalent)
Board certified or Board eligible
Active State of Idaho or Washington Physician and Surgeon Medical License or ability to obtain by hire date
Ongoing clinical practice

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching medical and/or other health professional students.
