Position Overview:

Lead research projects focusing on developing and optimizing network protocols for power systems.
Explore innovative applications of AI in modeling and managing energy systems, particularly in optimizing grid performance and reliability.
Manage day-to-day operations and research activities in a cutting-edge laboratory equipped with:
- NovaCor real-time digital simulator from RTDS Technologies for generation and transmission systems modeling.
- A comprehensive set of SEL equipment for distribution system testing, including SEL-3555 RTAC, SEL-451, SEL-351, SEL-787, and SEL-387 relays.

Publish findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.

Required Experience:

Proven experience in network protocols, power systems modeling, or AI applications in energy systems.
Demonstrable experience with real-time simulation and/or control systems in an academic or industrial setting.

Required Education:

A recent Doctoral Degree in CS, ECE with specialization in power systems security.
