Position Overview:
The Institutional Research Analyst supports data-informed decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and reporting institutional data. This role plays a key part in advancing the institutions strategic goals through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration across departments. The analyst will assist with internal and external reporting, survey administration, and the development of dashboards and other data visualization tools.

Required Experience:
  • Experience working independently
  • Experience working collaboratively across departments or interdisciplinary teams
  • Independently researching, compiling, developing and summarizing material for reports
  • Working in a customer service-oriented team environment to accomplish shared goals
  • Using word processing, spreadsheet and email software



Required Education:
  • Bachelors Degree

Required Other:
  • Membership in AIR (Association of Institutional Research) upon hired

Additional Preferred:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a field related to data analysis, statistics, computer science, social sciences or education
  • Masters degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAS Viya)
  • Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft) and statistical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R)
  • Experience working in institutional research or a higher education setting
  • Balancing and coordinating a workload for multiple projects
