A Note about Online Teaching

- The differences among online course formats (synchronous, asynchronous, hybrid)

- Building courses in the University's learning management system, Brightspace
To develop online courses, faculty may work with the CTLS Office of Instructional Technology. An Instructional Technologist or Peer Mentor from the Office can advise on the instructional design of the course and ensure that it meets the research-based criteria in the Online Course Rubric - Principles of Online Teaching.xlsx.
