Posting Context Statement:
The Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD) is an independent unit within the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. The CDHD is supported through a federal infrastructure grant, with numerous projects funded through sponsored accounts. The CDHD improves the lives of people with disabilities and their families by educating an interdisciplinary workforce, providing training and technical assistance within communities, conducting research, providing direct services, and disseminating evidence-based information.
Position Overview:
This position provides responsive and engaging support for childcare professionals related to state licensing, ICCP, and business practices. This position works with other coaches in the regional offices as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support childcare providers.
Duties may include:

- Idaho Child Care Orientation Site Visits
- Business practice support
- Licensing compliance support
- ICCP compliance support
- Childcare referrals
- Community and Family Resource Support
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
- Two years providing customer support
- Balancing and coordinating a workload for multiple projects
- Using computers and software for email, scheduling, word processing, data entry and organization
- Ability to communicate effectively and protect client confidentiality
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Other:
- Ability to travel and work non-standard hours as needed
Additional Preferred:
Education:
- Associate's Degree or higher
Experience:
- Working with early childhood education and early childcare professionals
- Organizing work effectively and efficiently
- Answering a business telephone using business procedures/etiquette
- Interpreting federal or state regulations/guidelines
- Experience includes one additional language relevant to the populations and communities served, using appropriate grammar and accurate spelling
