JOB SUMMARY: The Enrollment Systems Analyst will provide analytical and technical support to the offices of Enrollment and Student Support Services, creating and documenting analytical solutions in solving strategic enrollment problems focused on increasing undergraduate and graduate enrollment. This position serves as the business process analyst and expert serving Athens State Universitys Enrollment and Student Services divisions and their use of technology, including administering, maintaining, and improving the divisions CRM system to support the primary functions, lead generation, recruitment, admission, and retention of students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Compile and document data for applicant and enrollment reporting, trends analysis, and guidance on recruiting and yield strategies.
  • Through analyzing state, regional, and national demographic data, develop action plans in coordination of with the enrollment management team.
  • Compile and document registration and student-pipeline analytics and dashboards.
  • Provide analytical support for special projects within the Enrollment Services area.
  • Develop new enrollment reports as needed including interpretations and visualization of reports for executive review and analysis.
  • Provide support for essential functions to Office of Admissions including application processing, transcript intake processing, documentation verification, imaging, and admissions decisions.
  • Work with colleagues in the Admissions Office and across the University to examine admission cycle processes, map and refine workflows, and plan improved business processes.
  • Lead or co-lead efforts within Admissions and other University constituents to leverage CRM technology, other technology, and data analysis to improve the performance of the Enrollment and Student Services division.
  • Develop, configure, test, document, implement, and maintain: prospective student and applicant database, inquiry/information request form and web delivered content, online application, document management, communication modules, analysis and reporting tools, event registration systems, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, record types, field validation, workflow rules, data object relationships, permissions, triggers, email templates, campaigns, reports, dashboards, applications, and data import/export functions.
  • Manage data migration and integration, including mass imports and exports; data cleansing, including merging, de-duplication; and upkeep of institutional data standards.
  • Provide user support on, and documentation and training on the consistent use of, systems that support Admissions and Financial Aid, including CRM and reporting tools.
  • Manage functional and technical relationship with software vendors.
  • Monitor system performance and assist with problem resolution to help ensure system reliability and functionality as well as perform timely upgrades to the CRM.
  • Evaluate and recommend process and system modifications as needed.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for the CRM and identify best practices uses for the CRM.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing work scope and tasks based on need.
  • Actively work towards building cooperative and collaborative relationships with peers and internal faculty and staff.
  • Maintain "open door" to internal and external customers.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements to work practices and offers viable solutions for implementation.
  • Proactively engage in problem solving related to tasks in this position with internal and
  • external people.
  • Routinely practice self-monitoring by assessing self to make improvements or take
  • corrective action to improve performance.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.


Required Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • Demonstrated experience in the core job requirement areas.
  • Experience with data analysis in an enrollment setting.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of higher education Admission, Financial Aid, and Enrollment processes and best practices.
  • Experience with system analysis, data analytics, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably in higher education.
  • Experience with ARGOS or similar reporting tool, preferred. Experience with SPSS or similar statistical software preferred.
  • Focus on detail and experience in process and service.
  • Excellent communication skills required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred: Masters degree.
  • Must possess a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to keep student confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work well with others.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.


Salary Schedule:
Salary Band: P470
Salary will be Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
